Hello, my name is Karlie Hickson! I am currently finishing my master’s in business administration at Liberty University. Originally from Centreville, Maryland, I am stoked to spend my second summer serving as the Youth Minister for Emma Anderson Memorial Chapel! I have spent the last four years playing lacrosse for Liberty University, and have loved every second of it! My favorite pastimes include jumping in the ocean any chance I get, and spending quality time with friends and family!
Emma Anderson has been a wonderful outlet to experience Godly community in a place where the beauty of God’s creation is undeniable all around us. My continuous praying is that all who come through this program may come to know Jesus in a personal way, confessing Him as the Lord of their life! May Addie and I be vessels in modeling the character of Jesus Christ in this ministry, and that all may learn of the Gospel. It is our joy to serve and lead the youth of Topsail Beach, we are so expectant and excited for this upcoming summer!
My favorite verse remains John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
