Come Worship With Us!

Sundays at 10:00am, Year Round

Worship is a Verb

To use a phrase from Robert E. Webber, author, American theologian and founder of the Institute for Worship Studies, worship is not “something done to us or for us, but by us.” It is a joyous celebration of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Every Sunday we praise God through song and prayer. We recite the Apostles’ Creed and the Lord’s Prayer. We listen to the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. On the first Sunday of every month as well as at Easter time and on Christmas Eve, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Our corporate worship here at Emma Anderson not only defines who we are as a body of believers in Jesus Christ but also what we do as that body.

We invite a different Christian minister to lead our worship every week, with the exception of our two annual music Sundays, and it’s been that way since our first service in the chapel on July 22, 1951.

We have 50 ministers

Why 50?

Ministering to ministers is an active part of what we do.

We provide our guest ministers a six-night stay in our parsonage in sincere thanks for their ministry to us.

We’d love for you to join us this Sunday
