Youth Minister 2021 | (p) 740-502-7411

I grew up in Roanoke, Va., with my mom, dad, and older brother. I was a homeschool graduate in 2018 and now attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., where I'm studying psychology for crisis counseling. Following a call that God has placed on my heart to enter ministry, I'm excited for where God will lead me.

Starting work at a young age, I have had varied work experiences as a barista, optician, marketing director, admissions counselor, and now as a development assistant with Jon Thomas Consulting. Outside of work and school, I enjoy all things outdoors, running, music, and am always up for a cup of coffee and a good chat.

My favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9— "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Youth ministry is near and dear to my heart. From my time as a participant to later serving as a team leader, I am passionate about growing in Christ alongside youth and together embracing community. I look forward to what God has in store this upcoming summer at Emma Anderson Memorial Chapel!

Feel free to call me at 740-502-7411 for information about the 2021 youth program!

Youth Assistant 2021

I come from a military background which has allowed me to experience many different cultures all over the world. I've lived in Alaska, Germany, Japan, and North Carolina. I graduated in 2020 from Topsail High School and attend Campbell University where I play football and am studying to become a chaplain in the United States Air Force.

I have a deep passion for caring for others in helping them in their journey with faith. My love for God by keeps me active in my community. I recently became an Eagle Scout through Boy Scouts of America. I've led the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club. And I was the captain of the Topsail varsity football team. I also love to spend time in nature hunting, fishing, surfing, and hiking.

My favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 11:1— Now Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

I have so many verses that have carried me through life but this one seems to stick out to me. I love it because it has given me hope for a future and I know God is with me even when I don’t see  Him.

This summer my goals are to form many bonds with the youth to help them grow in their faith and share the Word of God with everyone in the program. I look forward to making many God-filled memories Emma Anderson Memorial Chapel!
